Yeah I hate those little bottles.. I always wrap mine in loads of tissue so the label doesn't get soaked in my own wee wee... Yuk!!

I only ever manage a tiny bit, I really can't get the hang of it..

I always try taking a empty bottle home with me and I do it the morning of my appointment.. Its much easier to try and do it at home.. lol

i bought a special jug for peeing in...

pee in jug, pour in sample tube :-D

lol I do that too.

I make sure its in a plastic bag in my handbag as well incase I havent put the lid on properly lol. Gross

Here we get decent-sized cups to pee in. Maybe that's why I've perfected the pee-in-a-cup... I cheat!

Hahaha what a funny thread - almost makes me miss being pregnant... I certainly miss being able to join in with you gals. Little Anna is more than enough to keep me occupied don't get me wrong - I do miss the giggles that I got following this thread, though! lol

You should try having Dixie cups (little paper drinking cups) around and pee in that, they're clean and fine for urine samples. Then transfer urine from that into the test tube thingy.

That's what I did when I was testing for pregnancy. The aimsticks I was using were very tiny, and the saturation line was very exact... no over peeing! I just peed in the dixie cup and dipped the test into it.

Aqua, I'm not sure what to tell you other than hold it REALLY close (like touching). If I don't have to go very bad, or baby is sitting just right where it 'dribbles' out rather than streams, I gotta get it right up close to catch what I can. Else, it goes all wonky and I keep missing, and get it all over everything.

The lab (and tests) don't need but just a little bit anyway.

My MW also uses the little Dixie cups, but I have to admit having trouble at my last appointment as it is hard to now see what I am doing down there.

We get a small plastic cup...I just hold it right up against me...haven't missed since week 16!
