Crappy sleeping

well, these past few days I honestly cannot get a good night's sleep.
I know a lot of it has to do with anxiety about birth because it is creeping up on me by every minute and when I return to bed from the bathroom I just overthink and cannot sleep at all.
It's just very tiring to feel like this for so many days in a row.

Im sorry you're feeling like that! Im awake every hour with either heartburn, leg cramps, nosebleeds or pain when I turn over.

Pregnancy is brilliant eh?

If you're worried about things maybe you could do something relaxing (e.g. have a long bubble bath) before you go to bed, might make you feel a bit less tense!

Poor you . I’m beginning to know how you feel. The last 2 nights I've barely slept. I went to an antenatal class on Monday and it scared the crap out of me - midwife was talking about labour and the side effects of pain relief - which weren't nice!!! I was just getting over my fear and now I’ve taken a step back!

I hope you get a good nights sleep Or LO arrives soon

Don't worry Gemz you are not alone. They showed a video of an epi-dural at my one class and I couldn't handle it. Walked out, got home and locked myself in the bedroom and couldn't stop crying.

Sleeping is definitely becoming a problem.

Linzi, any idea what causes the nose bleeds? i've really been struggling the last few days.

aw hunny I know what you mean. I'm still working every few days because the doctor said I could go back to work since I'm 36 weeks but with the lack of sleep then going to work sometimes I think I'm going to have a break down. Luckily it keeps me somewhat busy during the day but I get so tired and worn out after 4+ hours. I was talking to a new mom the yesterday (I work in a postpartum unit) and she said it was so nice to be able to get 3 hours of sleep instead of none. I so can't wait for that point. Your doing so great and your LO will be here soon hun.
