Swelling of verginal lips?

Is it normal to get swelling of the lips in late pregnancy?
Ive read a few things, some say it could be infection, some say its signs labour is going to start soon others dont really say anything.
These past few days I have found it hard to walk at times due to extream pressure down below, feels like baby might fall out, and then today the swelling so Im quite concerned, as Im 34wks, a little early still for baby to arrive.

LO is still very very active, only today I had this HUGE lump pop out the side of me, not sure what part of her that was, maybe her bum
At last 2 MW appointments I have been ROA with head down.

Any advice as Im not due at MW till tuesday would be appriciated.

swelling is normal as the baby is bigger and puts more pressure on the veins down there causing it to swell. If u are really concerned then give ur mw a call and mention it to her but i am sure all will be fine hunii xxx

swelling down there is pretty normal due to extra blood volume etc. Just one of those not so glamorous side effects of pregnancy im afraid if its very extreme though or accompanied with unusual discharge or itching, mention it to you mw as it could be you have a slight infection. xx

No itching, and to be honest discharge actually seems to have reduced slightly today
Ill see how things are tomorrow, as this pressure pain is really doing my head in, roll on 12th March

Yes, you will normally have swelling around the vulva because of increase blood flow and pressure.
