I'm using fragrance free baby wipes for botty, as cotton wool is just hassle, and they use them in hospital now.
I had a changing unit that the top lifted up on and there was a bath uderneath for the first few weeks. I only bathe them every few days, as they don't get 'dirty', and it messes with their skin if you over wash them. Once I've stopped bleeding, I bathe babe with me, and hubby gets babe out of the bath.

I use Infacare bath, which smells lovely and it's absolutely fab on anyones skin, even a newborn. I think you can get it from most larger Boots stores.

Talc is a must to make sure baby is dry properly, but i used the liquid talc by Avent, because their nostrils are so small, I was worried that talc powder would choke them somehow.

And for cradle cap, I used Olive Oil, rubbed across babes head against the direction of the hair growth and left on over night, and then wash with Dentinox Cradle Cap Shampoo.

I have bought a little plastic bath for bathing my newborn in as they are only cheap and i feel i have more control than if i put her in a bit bath.

I've also bought various johnsons baby products for bathing, i'm not sure what i will find useful as i'm still waiting for her to arrive. I'll certainly be using talc to make sure she's dry.. i even use it myself!!

Ive also bought lots of baby wipes in fragrance free, for sensitive skin as i think cotton wool would be a complete faff. Just my opinion though

I was wondering about this too. I think my baby might have sensitive skin because I do, so Ive stuck to all johnsons stuff. We've only bought talc, baby oil and cotton wool so far. I wasn't sure what to do about shampoo or body wash or anything. Wasn't sure when you're supposed to start using them.
