Instead of making 2 thread I combined my 2! haha..
First lets start off with maternity leave. I just gave work my notice that May 16 will be my last day. I'm due May 25th and by the end of the week May 16th I'll be just about 39 weeks!!.. So thats late for me.. but I figured it gives me a week off before my due date to clean the house and get everything officially BABY READY!!!
Secondly.. I went to my hospital on Sunday and took a tour!!!.. it was AWESOME! I am SOO excited to be delivering there!! The birthing room is like a SUITE!.. there's a private HUGE bathroom.. tiled from wall to wall.. spotless!! and then a separate HUGE Shower that can fit 4 people!!! Also tiled from wall to wall!! its unbelievable!! PLUS We get a complimentary dinner on our last night.. like restaurant style! It made me nervous to see the hospital and be there.. but I think its normal.. Im nervous and ANXIOUS!!!!!!
That's all for now folks!! Until next time!.. OH and I DO have a Dr.'s appointment tomorrow.. can't wait to talk to my OBGYN and ask her all about the position of the baby and the weight and stuff woo hoo!!!!!!.. Byebye!
your hospital sounds completely different to the ones over here! Im glad you're getting all set for the baby coming, i hope it goes well when things do get started!

I wish I was going to a hospital like that! The rooms where I am due to give birth are quite large but very impersonal, look a little outdated and there are shared showers. Is your hospital quite new?
I havent been on the tour yet, but the labour wards are just rooms with about 4 or 5 beds in, each with a curtain round it. You labour in there until a certain point then they take you to the delivery room I guess. I dont get my tour for another few weeks though. Didn't seem very comfortable though when I was there, certainly dont want to stay there for any long amount of time.
