Interals Question

I'll be going for my 32 (well, 31 1/2 week) appointment on Wednesday and I was just wondering when the internal exams start? Is this the week, or do I still have some 'hairy' time left?

Usually from 35+ week on depending on where you are. Some doctors might not give you any at all. I had my first one done at 34 weeks but because I had complained of about lots of pressure and BH's and because of my previous early labor with my son.

You still have some time left

I had one last week as well. Since I am planning a home birth, my MW likes to make sure nothing is going on in there.

it seems to depend from doctor to doctor.
for example, mine does not perform any internals until 40 weeks.

My doctor said its optional up until 39 weeks, but at my 38 week appt she did one without me requesting it. I think its cause she knew we were going to end up needing a section. I'd ask so you know ahead of time.
