Anyone else feeling super emotional??

Maybe it's just me, but this week I have been feeling really odd. It's my first full week of maternity leave on my own and I am really struggling. Normally, I am a really homely type. When I'm at work I am usually thinking if all the things I could be doing at home. I love cooking, and never mind doing all the washing and ironing on my days off.
But this week I feel like I've had a personality transplant. I cannot get motivated to do the basics, let alone all the grand things I had planned.
My hubby is worried I think. He was kidding around earlier while I was trying to finish dinner and I just burst into tears and ran off!!
Poor things been at work all day and I react like that!!
I think I'm feeling low as I have no car at the moment, am stuck at home with lots to do and no motivation to do it and am feeling like a failure!!

Anyone else?? Xx

I find I'm much more hormonal when I'm on my own at home - I don't know whether it's a lack of identity or what but I can get really clingy with the hubby. Big hugs xxx

When I first went on mat leave around 34 weeks I was stranded in the house because of the snow. I also felt really tired and felt frustrated because I wanted to do things but I couldn't. I was SUPER emotional and I'm never like that. I was crying, sometimes hysterically- dread to think what poor baby thought! Anyway, after the first few weeks I settled down and now feel super happy! I think our hormones play havoc with us. It might be a good time to try some relaxation techniques in preparation for the birth? I got a relaxation CD and use it every day now and I think it's really helped.

Hope you feel better soon x

Thanks ladies
I've written myself a list of jobs to do at home today, so I'm hoping that being a bit more organised will help me feel like I'm achieving something xx

I'm feeling like this. When I actually think about things, I have an amazing life and am really lucky and am soooooo excited about the prospect of going from a couple into a little family, but at times I feel so down, I just sit and cry! And for the silliest reasons, like my OH is wanting to go to the gym (and I can't be bothered!), or because there was papers all over the lounge floor (my OH cleared them and it took about 30 secs...) I am sure it is just hormones but I feel so sorry for my OH! xx
