can evening primrose oil induce labour?

Hey, i heard tht taking evening primrose oil helps prepare your body for labour but i also heard that inserting two vaginally can help soften the cervix and prepare it for labour? Can it actually cause contractions as i took one both orally and inserted two down there (sorry) and am now having some pains. Anyone tried this and succeeded?

Ive never heard of primrose oil bringing them on, but defo castor oil.

heard that castor oil is really bad because it can cause false labour and just make u sit on the toilet for ages lol xx

i sometimes get cramping with it, but it never comes to anything - not even lost any plug that i have noticed. I know it has helped a lot of people though by softening the cervix

yeah, i think thats how pineapple and curry is supposed to work too - gets the bowels going and this is meant to trigger labour - not worth it in my opinion

Yeah there is no way that i am going to sit on the toilet for hours when it can either go two ways such as false labour and poo a lot lol or bring you into labour and still poo a lot, i'd rather wait lol
