I hate GP's!!!!!!!!!!

ARGHHHHHH...

After having a bad experience with a GP for my 24 week appt - I went to todays 38 weeks check up with mixed feelings. It was a different doctor -so thought I would give her a chance.

To begin with my appt was at 11.15am - didnt get seen till 11.55am!!!!
Then my appt was all of 2 mins long, she checked BP urine and heartbeat - thats it. In my notes she just TICKED she had checked them, not put down what they all were. When I asked if he was engaged and how far - her responce was, yes he is head down, and about right for 38 weeks... I then said what you mean about right - to which she replied, ermmmmmmmmmm about half way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

My next appt isnt now till due date - which is 9th feb thankfully its with the midwife this time!

Awww no sounds like you had a horrid time with the doctor.

oh thats the day before my birthday lol.
Sorry about the way he treated you, that wasnt right. If you feeling unsatisfied about it you could always call a MW at your hospial and tell her that your appointment left you feeling extremely confused and could she please explain a couple of things. If they arent too busy im sure they will have no problem in helping you out.
I know what you mean about them being late though. My MW is always late and never see's be before 45 mins late. So i might aswell sleep in all the times i have an appointment with her. Its embarrasing. Her next appointments end up sitting next to me and then when she rushes me through my appointment i dont get the ask the questions that i waited all week to ask

I know MW are busy but sometimes they need to think how much we worry and how good the reassurance is to us.
