Cancelling antenatal apps???

Ive got my 38 week antenatal appointment tomos at 10.40 but my lil girl has got throat and ear infection shes just dazed out on the sofa, my only way to doctors is walking which is about 15-20 mins. Shes to poorly to be walking that long, i cant get a lift of anyone and there is no one to stay with her while i pop to my appointment.
So it looks like ill have to cancel, do you think ill be ok baby is still moving like a trooper and i feel fine, my next appointment is in 2 weeks when ill be 40+1 hopefully hell be here by then lol

You can always make another for a few days time and hope little one is feeling better or if someone can look after her. The midwife is always only a phone call away too so I wouldn't worry too much but personally I'd like my bp and pee checked.
Hope you get it sorted either way xxx

Could she not come out to you? I'd say it was probably ok to miss as long as your BP and urine have all previously been clear etc Hoe your LO feels better soon!

Id ring and explain, they may decide to send someone out to you in the next couple of days considering how far along you are, or ask you to in next week instead.

Definitely call them and explain. I had my 38 week check yesterday and the midwife at my health centre couldn't see me again until I was almost 40 weeks and NO ONE was happy with that, between the midwife, student midwife and consultant they all ran about trying to arrange something. I couldn't be seen at the hospital I was currently at because Im booked to deliver at the consultant led unit at a different hospital so it was a bit of a fuss arranging things but they finally worked something out and I'm getting a special appointment on Saturday up at the hospital with a midwife who was willing to slip me in.

Everything is good with my baby, bp is fine and urine is clear but they made a point of saying that if things go wrong they can go wrong really fast so want to see you at least once a week from this point.
