Nesting?

It might be to early for this to actually be nesting but I was curious. Ever since I posted my long complaint thread about everything wrong in this tiny apartment, I decided the only thing that will make it all better is to clean it from top to bottom. I think I'm actually scaring OH with my obsessiveness.

I even typed out and printed a list of everything that needs to be done and in which order it needs done. I gave myself a headache obsessing over it.

This is going to be long but I just have to post it. I've never been like this with cleaning and it's alittle scary and I'm afraid I may be alittle insane at the moment

1. Go to store
a. buy ant repellent/killer & traps
b. buy paper towels
c. buy new window cleaner
d. buy any other cleaning supplies we don't have

2. Under Kitchen Sink
a. Remove everything
b. Spray ants

3. Bathroom
a. Remove
1. Magazines
2. Everything from shelves, shower, and cabinet

b. Scrub
1. Toilet
2. Sink Area
3. Tub
4. Top of Shelves
5. Floors

c. Put everything back in organized fashion
4. Kitchen
a. Remove
1. Rug
2. Trashcan
3. Cats Food/Water Bowls
4. Silverware and everything in drawers

b. Kitchen Floor
1. Sweep
2. Scrub
3. Dry
4. Place ant trap under fridge
5. Vaccuum rug and replace

c. Dishes
1. Wash any
2. Organize dishes in cupboards

5. Main Room
a. Remove
1. Deflated Mattress
2. Chairs
3. Bicycle
4. Laundry

b. Clean
1. Vaccuum Carpet
2. Throw away all trash in OHs area
3. Wash Windows

c. Organize
1. All shelves
2. Computer related cords, etc

d. Replace
1. Bed and inflate
2. Chairs

e. Organize Closet/Laundry
f. Take bike to storage unit

6. Clean Litter Boxes
a. Empty
b. Scrub Boxes
c. Fill with new litter

7. Take out any accumulated trash bags

And I have a feeling that isn't all.

Is this normal? And will I be able to stop once I get everything done?

We did all that to our place last week because we had a labor scare. I also used disinfectant wipes on everything after we were done. Took us about 6 hours to finish everything, the only thing we have left to do is steam clean. You feel so accomplished when everything is done though and it's normal to want to have the house nice and tighty so that you can relax when you bring home your LO.

That's funny you should say that, I was actually just asking my cat why she couldn't just eat them all for me

I think I may have overstressed myself, after I got back from the store, I went to the bathroom and it looks like I broke a blood vessel in my right eye I really need to be calmer about this cleaning project but OH isn't making it very easy. I asked him to help and he said he'd "think about it". Arrgh.

My cat just look at them, she doesn't even make one single move. She's not even bothered with flies, squirrels or anything. OH keeps saying she's ''special'' ...

That's what my OH says about our kitty. She really is "special" I think. She thinks she's people. No interest in bugs, birds, or squirrels at all. Her obsessions are drinking out of the faucet and toilet and waiting for us to get up from our seats so she can steal them.

My cat LOVES to drink out of our glasses... Whatever it is : orange juice, milk, water, tea... If it's in a glass or a cup, she'll drink it! She also loves to jump on our chairs while we have dinner, she sits there and think she's royalty (her name is Victoria after all...). Cats are so pretentious!
