Sever Panic Disorder....

Well i have sever panic disorder, and my OH works night so it is REALLY bad when i am home alone.

It seems like lately i am constantly having a panic attack. Thinking something is wrong.. or that im going to die. I hate this so much!!!!! Why cant i be normal?

I dont want to use medication to fix my panic disorder, there has to be another way...

Anybody have any ideas?????? ANYONE ??? I just want to relax and be happy for once in my life

i feel i could almost have written that myself my husband has just changed to day shift cause i get worse at night and knew i couldn't have baby on my own at night.

maybe you could discuss it with your midwife and she could refer you to a counsellor. it won't make everything ok but i've been seeing mine since alex died and it does help. do you know what it is that makes you panic or is it just everything?

i really am thinking of you Xxx

Aww you poor poor girl i found my son dead and its the worst pain in the world. its not exactly the same but i'm sure the flashbacks and what if's are the same. have you ever been given any support of any kind? seems you have had more go on in a few years than a lot of people have in their lives and its ok to need help I'm not very good with words but you can message me any time if i can help. can you talk to your OH about things before he leaves for work to clear your head a little and you might find you can sleep? i leave music on all night I find that helps Xxx

to you all

I feel your pain, you wont die hun nothing bad will happen to you its just feeling and your mind playing tricks on you, trust me im speaking from experience 8 years with panic attacks and im still here and nothing bad as happened to me.

You need to speak to your doctor and ask him to refer you to a phyciatric nurse who can help you through something called cognitive behavioural therapy (cbt) its hard work but does work, you can and will get better

Pm me anytime if you need to talk
