swelling anyone?

anyone got any tips for relieving swelling?

I went up the hospital with it yesterday as ive also had high bp, but the midwife said all was ok. My lower legs and ankles are now really bad and reaaaaally puffed up also have some swelling in fingers and hands. Ive had to take my wedding rings off and i feel so nakey without them! as if im not uncomfy enough without one more thing to add to my list!

Ive been getting my 2 litres of water a day, and im trying to put my feet up as much as possible. Any other tried and tested tips??

I can recommend stinging nettle tea, birch elixir from Weleda, lots of watermelon, drinking water, swimming and putting your feet up

Oh lordy - you should see my elephant calves! Honestly, I just laugh at the state of my feet and ankles. Try and elevate your feet - higher than your heart apparently works best. Also, drink LOTS of water, at least 2 litres spaced out throughout the day. And walking/ swimming, anything that gets the circulation going. The lovely lady at my salon also said that upwards massage strokes will help to redistribute some of the water and I can honestly say that this does work.

Best of luck - not long to go until we get our proper legs back!

i have like baby elephant feet

and its soo hard for me being layed up with a bad back to get rid of the swelling. Try putting your feet in cold water and letting them soak.. it seems to work well for me since i cant get around walkin ect!

I cant wait to be back to normal now!
