Long Cervix May Predict Need for Cesarean Delivery in Primiparous Women

^ Ahhhhh. I don't want a Cesarean.

* O.K the link doesn't work. I dunno why, I found it on google and it didn't make me log in.
Basically if your cervix is long after mid-pregnancy it makes it more likely you'll have a Cesarean.
Great, just what I deserve after this pregnancy.

I never had an internal exam until D day, so never knew what cervix was up to. !!!Why would it lead to higher chance of a section ????

You don't need to worry about your cervix being long for a couple more weeks you don't want it to shorten out this soon because you will be put on bed rest as you would have an increased chance of preterm labor. Stay off google! If your worried talk to your doctor.

Aparently with your first baby you're meant to start thinning/effacing earlier. I can't get back onto the page it's asking me to log in now
