As some of you know oxsarahxo sadly lost her baby girl Jessica Charlotte Reay hours after giving birth. We are arranging a star to be named after Jessica and a lantern for her resting place from all of us. We also thought it would be nice to make a contribution to Sarah & Matt so they can use it towards flower arrangements, head stone or resting place arrangements. If you would like to contibute please PM me for details. I'm Currently Feeling: | Wrecking my head! On dates alone, I started out having a due date of May 3. At my 12 week scan, they pushed me back to May 26..but now I measure 3 weeks ahead, which puts me back closer to the original date of May 3...And my doctor gives me the generic "She might come somewhere in between " spiel! I was never off on period dates, which is why I found it hard to believe that I could have been three weeks off...I really think this baby will be here the first week of May, which will really give be a kick in the arse..since we're not really 100% on her name yet! But I guess we'll find out when I start having the internals, etc.. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I think it's really just a guessing game for them, although three weeks is quite a difference! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | You still have a month to decide on the name, we didn't have a name for Isis until 2-3 weeks before the birth, we kept changing our minds . I was panicking when I went into labor at 34 weeks because we had no names we agreed on lol.
As for dates, I wouldn't worry overly much about it. I measured ahead a few times at my appointments 3 weeks at the most I believe, then around 34-35 weeks I was only measuring a week ahead. You could have been a bit more bloated, hadn't gone to the bathroom for #2 etc can cause larger measurements too. Plus, only 10% of bubs make it to their due date. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | My Dh and I don't plan to have a name picked out at all until the after the birth. Neither of us feel that we can attach a name to someone we have not met. What if we pick Joe, and the baby comes out and doesn't look like Joe. So we have a list of 5-6 girl names and the same for a boy. Once this LO makes it's enterance we can see who it is, and find their name. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | That will go out the window once you get a little one
For instance, plan a nice family trip somewhere... kid will inevitably get sick.
Now, schedules are a good thing, and quite necessary, but actual planning!??? No way.
I'm ANAL about planning and lists and coordinating down to the quarter hour, I'm rarely late etc. But having my lovable DD 12 years ago shot that all to hell.
I'm still all of those things, but flexible.
Welcome to parenthood. |
