Another question about nuchal cords

Someone recently told me that it's fine that my baby has the cord around her neck for now but it will become a problem once she drops and her head becomes engaged? Then, according to this person, the cord will get more tight.Does this make any sense to u?

And if yes, what should i do,ask to be induced or have C-S???No doctor will do this coz of nuchal cord !
I'm so panicking right now

you mean the umblilical cord hun?
if your baby had the cord around her neck at the scan then it will probably loosen or move before you go into labour and yes if it doesnt then it can get tighter but its very rare that it happens as the cord is quite long i mean you can normally breastfeed a baby thats still attached by its cord to you/placenta

talk to your MW or doctor about your fears but i think you will find if they are worried they will scan you to check the position of the cord

lots of babys are born with the cord around the neck once or even twice and it does no harm so long as they notice and move it or loosen it

I don't think it will move now as i'm almost 37 weeks.I know that it can cause problems during labor and in this case they will do cs but i fear that it might be tight with the baby engaging in the birthing chanell since this happens bit before labor for first time moms.
