I had some sharp pains in my bump last night, but I was very sleepy and couldn't be bothered to wake up. I am sure I will sleep through the first phase of labour once it starts.
I worry kinda about that too, cause I get so many braxton hicks that are slowly getting longer and more painful that I worry I wont know that Im really in labor I will just think its the BH. Im sure I will know, but hey you never know, I have been getting BH since 19 weeks... its normal to me now. I guess I wouldnt mind not knowing I was in the first phase cause then by the time I got to the hospital maybe I will already be a 5! I can only hope!

...Even painful BH are a far cry from what real contractions are like...

Ditto!! I was thinking the same thing, as I've also had BH for most of my pregnancy and they are deffo getting stronger and stronger each week now..
