recurrent kidney infections since 17w - normal birth or c section?

Hi ladies

As the title says really, i've had recurrent kidney infections since 17 wks {not utis}
A kidney scan showed scarring on both kidneys and today i've been given antibiotics for yet another one, each ones seems to ast longer and is more painful, with more symtoms.

Does anyone know if its safe to have a normal birth if at constant risk of infection or if a c section is more advisable? gonna mention it at my clinic apt tomorrow but just wondered if anyone knew from experience?

Thanks x
