I'm Currently Feeling:  | I have Gestational diabetes
I went for the 50 mg sugar test a couple of weeks ago and it came back problematic. they sent me for the 100 mg one last week, afterwards i felt very sick as my sugar was low, i got the results back and thought they were okay but it turns out they were not. the nurse called me today to tell me. she said i have to make an appointment to see the doctor next week. in the meantime i have to measure my sugar for 2 or 3 days so i can take the doctor the readings and we can see how controlled or how much lack of control i have.  i am disappointed i really thought the results were okay.
i know this is not the worst thing in the world and i know its treatable. probably just through diet and exercise but i am still disappointed. I know that one of the worries is big babies, or babies born with low sugars. i really dont want to end up with a c section if i can help it, and obviously dont want my baby to be born with a low sugar. ill do whatever i have to to keep it under control and ill know more from the doctor next week.
would appreciate hearing from other girls who have it or have had it.
