I went into labor Saturday night but they stopped it. That might be what caused it to come out?? Maybe when they were checking to see how dilated I was it loosened it up because it came out Monday.

I'm not sure if mine exists either... I'm dilated but still no signs of mucus plug ! Don't get me wrong, I'm having lots of stringy cm (sorry tmi) but no jelly tampon yet !

No it didn't hurt at all... i just felt something sliding out of me kinda hard to explain. It was one of those times you can tell something was coming out so I ran to the bathroom. Good thing I noticed because I wouldn't want that sitting in my panty liner all day!!!
