aahhhh i think i've found the culprit (thanks to cymrucath!). i've been really good on the water until last week when i switched to mango juice and loads of it too. its all i drink now, with lots of ice. must be a craving thing. i see mango is on the list of natural laxatives but i obviously need water to help the flushing process so water is back on for me. got a pineapple in the fruit bowl as well which i plan to eat some of tonight along with some watermelon xx

My MW suggested shredded wheat with warm milk & brown sugar - it worked for me : )

It is really strange isn't it? You think fluid is fluid but everything is working double time in your system now so it needs more lubrication to help it work!

If you eat all that fruit and drink lots of water though you may want to go around with a bucket just in case!

im having weetabix flakes this morning (as im not a fan on weetabix!)
with hot milk mmmmm
my mum also suggested hot sugary tea so i'll try that too x

raisins keep things regular for me, even on iron tablets, but i guess really it's finding something u like that u can snack on throughout the whole day to keep things moving

emalou your baby must be VERY happy in there i can't believe ur still posting, i really hope if anyone goes into labour today that it's u u poor thing gd luck here's hoping todays ur day xxxx

guess what? success! and it was almost immediate too after eating pineapple and drinking loads of water! what a load off, literally feel so much lighter

My midwife suggested Syrup of Figs. You can get it at Boots and it tastes kind of cinnamon-y.
