SPD and Delivery?

Just a question about birth for people who've been there before... Ive got an appointment with my MW tomorrow and I just wanted to have a chat with her about this, but I don't know the first thing,

My doc told me last week I have SPD and I am in absolute agony. I really don't know how Im going to last another 8 (10 weeks max!) like this.

Do you think if I asked my midwife they would talk about inducing me a bit earlier than my due date because of this? Or would it not be safe? Has this happened to anyone before?

Also, I read somewhere that SPD can increase the risk of c section, but elsewhere Ive read that that isn't true. Can anyone clear that up?

Thank you

I think most people with SPD elect for a c-sec because of the pain..

Yeah its what Toria said. I tried reading up about it but theres so much stuff that conflicts with each other and I don't really understand myself.

Id rather not have a c section, but if its going to happen anyway will they give me it a bit earlier do you think?

If you elect for a c-sec I think you can book it for 38 weeks

Best just to ask because you're curious. I'm sure the doctor won't think the question is stupid. Maybe you can have a chat with her to see if there are ways to soothe SPD during labour or specific positions that work out better. Good luck!
