finding work so stressful

i posted a thread the yesturday about nosebleeds and headaches saw midwife today and we ruled out a number of problemsbut got to talking aboutmy job.

i work in a very busy nursery in a room with 12 2year old which is a nightmare at the best of times, but since i have been pregnant i am finding this even harder to cope with. its bad enough when u have one or two children of that age kicking off but when all twelve decide to do it I cant cope i can just feel the stress levels rising and i just wanna sit and cry ( i have done on a few occasions).

yesterday after my litte scare doc told me to have today off and see midwife and discuss these issues and she said that maybe all the syptoms are stress realted and that i should maybe ask to move rooms or for additonal support just so glad i only have 23 working days left but i dont know if i can even stand going in for those.(AHHHHHHHH RANt OVER)

Awww It does sound like you're under a lot of stress. Is there any way you can take your Mat leave early or get your doc to sign you off of work for a bit? Sounds to me like you need some good rest and relaxation. I hope you feel better soon.

I know exactly how you feel, you aren't alone. Not long till we can relax now. I had a practical uni exam this morning, and now i am having really strong stomach pains. I'm not sure if its stress or what, but luckily i'm seeing midwife in an hour so can ask her....I'm in pain xxxx

If you're finding it stressful and cant cope you should get your doc to sign you off work, and / or bring your mat leave forward. It obviously isnt any good for you, and cant be good for the kids you are looking after.
Hope things improve for you.

Stress does bring on stomach cramps char, so thats probably what that was!

Sorry you're feeling so stressed Claire, I feel in the same boat a bit. I got signed off a week ago but Ive had to keep coming in anyway and I just feel like I want to scream. So god knows what you must be feeling with all those kids running riot around you.

Id have a word with your boss and see if you can arrange a few days off or something? Sounds like you need a bit of peace and quiet.

Sorry you're feeling stressed out hunny. I leave on the same day as you, i've only got 19 actual days left of work but i cannot wait. The only thing keeping me going is the reassurance that i will get longer with my daughter.

Stress is not good for you though hun, it might be better for you leave sooner. Your stress will affect your little one too.

Take care hun

Might be worth making some days half days if you have the allowance? Just to give yourself a break. If not then maybe you could negotiate less hours with your employer up until you go on leave? Atleast then you'll not be working as long?
