Any1 been told their baby is back to back & not in pelvic region??

Saw my mw 2day and she advises I get a birthing ball and not to slouch but sit upright and to bend ova lots cos baby is not lying in my pelvic area but further up and back to my back. Has any1 else been told this? I'm rather concerned

Yes, I was told this on tuesday, was also told to walk as much as posible (in this weather, our pavements are still icy). I've been to aquanatal and was told to hold onto side on my front and kick my legs. Think I can feel a bum at the front now, but it could be just wishful thinking. I did read around and heard that baby can still turn up until labour anyway (most do) and some babies are in the right position right until labour begins and then go back to back so it sounds like it's just luck of the draw. Good luck xx

I am going through the same situation, bub has been "Face up" - Spine2Spine since as long as I can remember, Although she is in my pelvis at my 32 wk appointment she was "Floating" at my 34wk She had decended further down, but is still face up. Midwife said to do some swimming and birth ball stuff, if nothing works she will most "likely" turn at birth, if not its just a longer delivery and more painful, so ive read.
