I can't believe it is this high! i HAVE HEARD OF THEM YEARS AGO but nothing recently then i talked to my doctor and he said that number is correct and he has had two already this year!! between Jan-March he has had two im really in shock about this, just wondering what you girls think?

I have a friend that delivered a baby at 26 weeks because it had died and my ex-husband had a baby in September that died within minutes of being born.

I was wondering about this the other day. That's really scary that the odds are so high!

Wow, as if we didn't have enough to worry about.
How does this happen though?

Girls relax i had a stilbirth and i was the only one last year in one hospital. I think the ratio is actually higher, and with the modern tecnologies nothing can go wrong.

Take it from me listen to your gut, when your water brakes DH should be stopping at hospital 5minutes later.

Good luck

I really can't bare the thought, i'm so looking forward to my little girl. If she dies before i even get to meet her, it would tear me appart.

I can't imagine the pain people suffer from stillbirths

my daughter was stillborn and it was only then that i found out htat it could actually happen, its crazy you spent 12 worring about losing it, and the rest of the time hoping it dont come early, and people tell you not to get stressed when your pregnant! mental

I don't think many of the people included in those still born figures were full term though
