38 weeks apt. warning: rant

Ok I'm sorry this is going to be a rant.

Got at my appointment that was at 2pm, waited in the waiting room for 1h45mins !!!!!! Then I waited 15 minutes in the exam room...
My doctor only do office work, she delivers babies sometimes but on the weekend only. So, there was no good reason why I've had to wait 2h!

Once she got into the room with me, it didn't take more than 3 minutes... Seriously! Also, she NEVER tells me anything unless I ask. If I dare asking some questions, she answers them very briefly and let me know she's busy busy.

Anyway, I had to get this off my chest. Healthcare may be free here, but it's CRAP!

Thanks for reading.

So, baby was fine, I'm dilated to a 2cm. I also gained 1.5 lbs in a week, I think it's alright! So that's it for my 38 weeks appointment. I really hope this was my last.

Blimey a two hour wait is really bad... Whats the point in them giving out appontments in the first place !! Then to get in there and be rushed around is double bad, coz you wouldnt mind so much if when you got in, she was really helpful..

I can totally understand why your annoyed Jess.. Anyway hopefully you won't have to have another one now..

Baby Joshua will be here any day now

One trick I learned with my dr is to always make appointments very early in the morning every week so there is less chance she drifts away.
I have one on Thursday at 8 am...first patient.

The first time I saw her I waited 3 hrs and then saw her for 2 minutes.
She never asks how I am doing, never tells me anything and leaves right after listening to the baby.

Very shitty service.

Aqua, sorry you're having such shitty appointments too. I just can't wait until this is all over now.
