Heartburn question

I'm not in 3rd tri yet (one more week), but was wondering if heart burn subsides in the 3rd trimester. I have had heart burn all through my 2nd trimester and I have had it bad. I'm so ready for it to go away. Is this kind of like morning sickness in the 1st trimester?

You can get something off your doctor for it?
Mine has gotten worse, but mine didn't start untill a few weeks ago.

Actually, I am taking over the counter Zantac (equivilant to the presciption kind) only when neccessary. It's so agonizing having heart burn, sometimes it almost makes me sick. I'm hoping it goes away soon.

It may go away when baby drops.

Otherwise, you have to wait till your baby is born. Sorry to say...

But I'm right there with you... I snack on tums, and take a pepcid every day.

They gave me tablets in hospital which helped tremendously (sp?). So, I think if you ask your doctor, there is actually something they can recommend.

Same as Jess, I only got it in this trimester. But it's not that bad, only occasional.
