I'm Currently Feeling:

Baby Hiccups

Hello,

My little girl seems to get hiccups several times a day, every day. Is this ok or could it be a problem.

It's total weird. No one mentioned that my bubs would get hiccups in the womb, and its such a strange feeling. Is it deffinately hiccups or is it something else i could be feeling?

Sorry to stress about what is probably nothing!

xxx

Coz you can feel it... little one jerks rythmically for aggeess... its not as fast as a baby heart beat and not the same as your heartbeat so its not like a trapped vein or anything...

its weird but cool all the same

Mine just seems to do it several times a day

xx

Charlotte gets them 5-6 times a day, usually for 20-60 minutes. Her's kinda almost feels like a pulse, but different. I've read that they don't annoy the babies like they annoy us..I HATE having hiccups! Oh...and my doc told me they count as movment for kick counts...

Mine gets them every morning, once or twice during the day, and during dinner as well. It is a very good sign. It is their little lungs and diaphram getting ready to do their business.

Yep. Hiccups are normal. My LO gets them at least twice every day and usually lasting no shorter than 20 minute intervals. What a neat feeling, huh? I love watching my stomach jerk with her hiccups... can't believe how big the little monkey is getting!
