I agree with her, would you post a pic? Maybe then we could see what you
are talking about~*

Don't think that would make much difference. I think a dr is the best thing to do

It's probably just a cyst but you do need to see the doctor. It needs to be drained and looked after. Dont waste time. Look after yourself.

I have rather too much experience in this! My OH has the same thing on his back and they are cysts. Def not an abcess (had one of these myself and they are red and angry and extremely painful!). With my OH (TMI alert!!) I squeeze his and fluid shoots out and they deflate really quickly. I am not entirely sure I should be advising you to do this, but in his case it doesn't take much pressure and obviously was hugely reassuring when we first spotted it. If you do try this, only apply pressure lightly, use clean hands and sterilise spot afterwards. If he does try this get him to put paper over it first (I once got shot in the face and it was disgusting!). My OH's father gets them too so fairly sure there is a genetic link.
Having said all this, going to GP is the best option (something my OH is resistant to) if you can make it and just be reassured that it will probably be nothing to worry about. Sorry for essay!

xx

Oh my goodness! i would not suggest doing this until seen by a doctor 1st. u don't know what it is just by words describing it so it may do more damage than good.
Sounds like fun though! ew
