spicey food to induce labour


has anyone tried this and if so did it work or not? Just curious as i'm thinking of trying it. X

i had a really hot curry but it did nothing for me but its worth a go x

the way this is suppsoed to work is to either give you stomach or bowel cramps and since both are right next to the uterus that it will trigger sympatheic cramps in the uterus starting off contractions, ,
very unlikely to work unless your ready to give birth in my opinion

I have heard dont have anything too hot and spicey because if it works can have runny poos from the food and that isnt something u really want in labour

i had a vindaloo ohh my god eat the hole god damn thing n it didnt bloody lol i was gutted .... but worth a try xxx

when I talked to my OH about this, he asked me "what about all the pregnant women in India who eat spicy food?" I guess he had a point...

Perhaps , but then again i suppose their bodies are used to it so wouldn't have that much of an effect on their bowels . X
