haha. sorry girls.

so if i dont have a sweep (which im not keen on really), will they definately leave me for (i think..) 10 days overdue before they decide to induce me?

am i right in thinking they will only induce earlier if i have an issue's like high blood pressure/swelling etc ? confussseddddd.

or maybe could i ask my midwife to be induced the end of this week/start of next, then i'll be 7 days over.

im not too sure, i think it depends on your hospitals policy. I think usually they book you in for induction wen your about 10 days over though? xx

10 days isn't really long to wait though...

2 people i no had to wait 11 days before being induced. It depends on hospital policy

it will also depend on how busy the hosp is with inductions and planned sections when the induction date is set - consultant phoned labour suite to arrange 'next available induction' for me last tuesday morning and i was given thursday night for friday morning - but my freinds daughter saw the communtity midwife tuesday afternoon and when she ohoned to arrange that 'next available induction' she was given monday night for tuesday morning
so i guess its just a matter of hoping they can fit it in at the right time etc

oh and we both had little girls born 12 hours apart, friends dd never made it as far as her induction lol
