| Ours was very much planned - had been trying for about 3 years! 2 miscarriages, a prolonged struggle with the GP to get me referred and finally 6 months of fertility treatment we managed it! I have polycystic ovarian syndrome though so i knew it would be a struggle. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Planned. A bit over planned really.
I kind of fitted in having a baby around work. I am planning on moving up the ladder so decided to go for it and have a baby now. Plus I get 7 months full pay with the team I work with now, where I'm planning on going I only get 3 months full pay. So it made sense money wise to have the baby now.
Im 26 and not getting any younger and didn't want to have my babies to late either. We tried for a while but nothing. I was really worried that something was wrong. Then we went to Devon for a week. One night of love with a very drunken daddy and baby Rollo was made.
I've decided daddies tadpoles only work when his very drunk!! lol |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Mine wasn't planned. I was on the implant, had implant out and started taking the pill. Guess i wasn't taking it as i should have been coz little Caitlyn was made.
We're both over the moon as we both wanted kids, we'd just planned on having them a little later.

I'm Currently Feeling: | The funniest comment I have heard, which wasn't made to me, was from my best friends SIL, when she told her I was pregnant, she said 'What? On purpose?' Like it was the most horrible thing to possible do. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Erm...YES...but no as well. We tried for two years, did procedures, surgeries, drugs and were on our last home study for an adoption agency. After another round of clomid they told me I didn't ovulate. DH and I hated how I was on the drugs we decided that we were going to take 2 years off of drugs and put a hold on the adoption process (there wasn't a child picked or anything...just the home studies) while we got more involved with our FD and I was going to try to loose some weight and such. I took my provera to bring on a period, even though I wasn't going to up the clomid dose and I had an appt with my OB all set up to tell her we were taking a break. Day 5 after my provera AF didn't show up (ALWAYS shows up on day 5), but didn't think anything of it. Day 9 DH convinced me to take a HPT and it was a BFP! I guess I DID ovulate and the blood tests just didn't pick it up... |

I'm Currently Feeling: | We've been together for nearly 4 years now and fought for and won custody of my Boyfriends sons (4+ once that was over with i came off the pill mainly because i had been on it for so long and we thought if it happened it happened, the timing at that point was good and we have a good set up,home and job wise.
Came off the pill and were using condoms for 3 months for my body to get back to normal and bang as soon as we stopped those i was pregnant, guess my body didnt need much time getting back to normal!
I was so worried and really thought i would never get pregnant again as in 2002 i had an abortion under only local anaesthetic followed by an acute bleed and felt so much guilt coming to that decision that ive always beaten myself up over it and regretted it always.
Am thrillled ricegrain will be with us in about 10 weeks now yay!! |
