I'm Currently Feeling: | Is that Irish? Why is that the first question I get when I tell people I'm calling bump "Caitlyn?" I'm starting to get hormonal about it. Anyone else getting funny about their chosen name? I love it, I'll more than likely be sticking with it, but I am very much over-thinking it. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | LOL! don't worry about it. That's an uber cute name... I never even thought it was Irish before and my actual name is Katelyn.
I get a bit uneasy when people say they don't like the name I've chosen for my daughter. A hairdresser was harassing me about it saying people will call her "Ass" for short. I couldn't give a shit what people think, really. Don't let them get to ya! |

| I wana call my baby girl
Hallie Madison Owens
With me being scouse, I get a lot of people saying 'Allie which i dont like coz people may assume her name is Alison then.
Also Hallie Madison, i got the idea from HUgh Hefners girfriend Hollie Maddison and thurt it was such a sweet name and decided to adapt on it. Some people seem to get a bit shiirty of that saying, 'ur namin ur baby after a playboy model' pffft |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I had the same issue with our first chosen name, we really liked Riley. But when I told people you could see they didn't like it so it made me really paranoid about him having an unusual name and getting picked on. So we went with Jack :P |

| That's why me and DH are keeping the name a secret. We have 2 names picked out for her, and will wait til we see her face before deciding which one, but until then, I don't want anybody else's opinion to affect my choice in her name.
Can't you get a tshirt made? Something like: It's a girl, her name's Caitlyn and no, she's not Irish. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | My nan says it wrong on purpose. If I have to hear "Caitland" one more time I'm going to flip. My grandad likes to wind me up about the fact she'll get nicknamed Kate. My aunt pointed out that everyone else in my family has well known names.
Miffed. I don't want a common name. It's my baby. They can just DEAL WITH IT. |
