Went into labor

Last night I started getting cramps at the top of my bump. They were constant so I didn't think they were contractions. After about an hour and 1/2 we called the birth center because I was in A LOT of pain so they told us come right in. Of course the minute I get off the phone I throw up (yuck I HATE throwing up). It was snowing but we live five minutes from the hospital thank goodness. They hooked me up to the monitors and it showed I was having contractions 2-6 minutes apart. They did in internal and it showed I'm about a 2 so they gave me some injections and kept me for a few hours. When I left my contractions were about 12+ minutes apart so now I'm taking terbutaline by mouth every 4-6 hours but at least I can be at home. The scary part is I can't tell when I'm having contractions because it was just like a normal steady cramp. We didn't bring the car seat with us or the hospital bag Now I have to be a big lazy bum the next 2 weeks... I'm hoping he makes it to 38 weeks because thats what our hospital now considers full term. OH was so amazing though... the way he was rubbing my back and making sure I was as comfortable as I could be. Right now hes making pancakes The hospital was really nice though. The nurse was sweet and kept me informed. I'm glad I thats the hospital I will be delivering at. I don't think I've ever been so scared but the hospital and my OH made me feel everything would be ok. On the plus side I guess I will be starting maternity leave now.

Thank you Aqua I feel much better now that I've been on the medication for 12+ hours. Connor was doing great the whole time. Every time the nurse came in she kept commenting about how awesome he looked (talk about sigh of relief).
