I'm Currently Feeling: | hormonal and lonely i hate being hormonal and lonely. My OH keeps letting me down by staying out late and occasionally coming home drunk which he has never done pre pregnancy. I have university work coming out of my ears which has to be all finished by the 4th april for me to pass my final year.
I have been told my babies kidneys may not be working 100%, and i am so lonely as i have no friends around the area.
It was okay before because OH hadn't got any friends too, but now he does and i get left alone. Also just feel fat and ugly.
I just can't stop crying tonight. Just fed up with it all right now. I wish i at least had his bloody support. xx Sorry for the rant. |

| Hi Charlotte, I read your post and can sympathize. My OH is never here to support me either, I have been lonely throughout my pregnancy and am now 32 weeks and facing the prospect of going it alone now. In some ways I feel stronger thinking about going it alone. Every time my OH is involved I feel more stressed and emotionally drained.
Try to keep optimistic though hun, life has a funny way of working itself out. Whatever life throws at us a baby is a blessing no matter what the circumstances. | | | | Status: Offline

| Oh you poor thing You sound really down. You have lots going on at the moment and pregnancy, however great it's going, is a huge worry. I worry about lots of things It's only natural - your LO is already so important to you and with all those added hormones!!!
Just think, you'll soon have a beautiful baby and you may be able to join some mother and baby groups which will make you feel less lonely.
And P.S I'm sure you look lovely pregnant - not fat and ugly
I hope you feel better soon x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Please don't feel bad - its normal to feel a bit hormonal and stressed - babies are a huge life-changing event. It would probably be more weird if your OH was acting like nothing had even happened! Have you spoken to him about how you are feeling? I think that with all the hormones flying round we sometimes have to cut them [the men] a bit of slack and tell them how we are feeling rather than expecting them to be mindreaders!
The university stuff can't be helping though - have you spoken to your tutor? Can you get any more help? Delayed deadlines...etc?
Don't appologise for the rant - we all need to let off steam! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | You are certainly anything but fat and ugly... But i do understand how you feel.
I'm sorry you're feeling down, i wish you lived a little nearer then i could give you a little company. It hard going through all these changes on your own. Have you tried talking to you OH about it? i know you probably have, but keep talking to him till he realizes that you need his support right now. It's his child as well.
you're a really sweet person and deserve better treatment than what he is giving you now.
Try not to stress too much as your little boy needs you. I hope he is ok and all healthy. I hope the kidney problem isn't too serious and its something that can be fixed. We will all be here for you
Chin up chuck :-) |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Charlotte, things like this will only make you a stronger person and a better mommy. You can do it all, I don't doubt it at all.
And you feeling fat and ugly??? I think you need a reality check: you look absolutely amazing. Sure, your body is changing but you indeed look amazing.
I hope you feel better |
