Any mums who have/had breech babies....

My MW said my baby was breech at my appointment yesterday. I have to say the night before I was saying to my hubby that my bump had totally changed shape, so when she said it I wasnt surprised.

Now either he's since shifted back head down (he was head down when I was examined by a MW and a consultant over Christmas) or she was mistaken because I am NOT convinced he's breech at all.

So those of you who have or have had breech babies - where do they kick you? Where do you feel them? My movement and kicks are just as they were with my other 2 who werent breech.....

My little one has been breech all along and still is at 39wks now.

All kicks up til about 30wks or so were really low down - pretty much in the pubic area.

Dont know if that helps??

Still plenty time for yours to turn - thats what everyone told me - but nope!!

All my movement is high up. Kicks and jabs in the rib area. None down in the pubic area to speak of which is why I'm not convinced he is breech......

ine was confirmed breached at 30 week scan. Movement where all low down. But today i have felt movment on my side and at the top so im wondering and hoping she has turned. At this point it dont matter to much anyway as baby could turn and turn again. Its only after 36 weeks they look into it, and even then you will be monitered till labour just incase baby turns

All of my kcks are very low too - pubic area...

I do get "wriggles" higher up... His hands are sometimes by his head "under my right ribs", so sometimes he has a little go at swatting around his face or I feel hi bottom/back wriggling...

You are only 28 weeks - still very early days: even if a baby is breech then, most of them rotate by 34/35 weeks (especially if they have been head down already at some point...).

QT

my L.O is frank extended Breech! thats head up with her legs next to her head LOL.
i was shocked, mine was undiagnosed until 37 weeks by a scan, and the midwife just had a check today and said she hasnt moved.
so i have a c section booked for the 20th of jan!
i think they can move about in any position up until about 37 week, then only 3-4% remain breech.
so plenty of time hun xxxxx

Just to say I am not even remotely concerned about him being breech! I'm happy to deliver him vaginally breech! I just wondered how people were feeling babies who they were sure were breech. My MW said she 'thought' he was but I dont think he is and if he is I know he's plenty of turning time left but either way I dont really mind. The only small concern is that I might not get my homebirth if he is and stays breech. I'd still rather have him vaginally than a c section.

My LO is transverse most of the time with feet on my right side, but he moves around a bunch. The other day he was transverse with feet to the left for about 1/2 the day and then rotated. My midwives don't even check for position yet because baby moves around too much still.

This baby does exactly the same transverse with head towards hip and legs in my side but she moves around so much still.
