I'm Currently Feeling: | Ante-Natal Appointment - He Has Entered My Pelvis !! Well I finally had an ante-natel appointment with my midwife today and I was very pleased to find out that his head has entered my pelvis.. She said it's about two thirds in which is roughly upto his ears apparently..
I told her about my numb hands and feet, she said its pretty common and called 'carpal tunnel' I have to lay with my hands above my head and my feet raised..
She tried to take blood from THREE veins unsuccessfully which has left me bruised so I have to go to the hospital for that instead..
His HB was REALLY fast and he was kicking hard, she said he was over excited, but I think he was a bit scared from her poking him (which hurt) she was saying "there there, clam down, its ok" and you could literally hear his little heartbeat slow right down and return to a steady pace.. Poor litttle baby..
Anyway that was my appointment today, im so glad about his head engaging !! |

Sorry to hear about the carpal tunnel, hope the goes away for you soon. Ick at the taking of bloods though! I know how that feels, they tried to get an IV in me 4 times during labor, and finally got in the 5th try. I STILL have bruises |

Thats far from you though isn't it.. I could have gone to St. Mary's in Sidcup.. Or Darenth Valley.. But The QEH is pretty close to all our family and I've had another operation there before so I kinda feel familiar there..
Where are you having your little man? |
