Some girls lose it before (I did with Isis but didn't with Drake) and others lose it when their water breaks. It depends on your body

Is it a problem if this happens a while before the birth?

That depends on when it happens, if its close to your due date or in the last 6 weeks or so of your pregnancy then its usually nothing to worry about.
But if you think you're losing it before then, its best to mention it to your doctor. Just in case for preterm labor etc.

Jenny, you seem to be an expert!

Anyone know if you can lose it in parts? I keep getting lumps of what looks like bogey!

Should I mention it to my midwife on Tuesday? That I think I might be losing parts? I don't know if it is but it might be best to check as I've had cervix pain too I guess. Was yours clear? They're just clear bogey bits. How the hell am I going to explain that to the midwife.
