sore and swollen 'lady bits'

Hi ladies,

for the last few days i have been very tender in my lady area and pelvis and the whole area seems to be quite swollen. I also have a pretty bad ache in my vagina?

I know that the baby must create some pressure down there but is this normal? Should i get checked out?

i got progressively more swollen. I remember making a thread about at at about 39 weeks and was assured it was normal. I actually wondered whether the baby would ever be able to make it out but 2 days before i went into labour the swelling disappeared complelty

i got this last week it was really uncomfy for a couple of days i bought sum gel pads that you put in the freezer and then in your underwear from mothercare they really helped and the swelling and soreness went down, xx

oh ok to be honest just the thought of something nice and cold down there seems lovely! Its a shame im at work sitting at a desk all day is SO uncomfortable its like im sitting on it! ouch!

I've swelled up, but thankfully it's not sore yet. Not looking forward to that!

yes and i have a waddle going on to! very uncomfortable i need a long bath!
