Any "late pregnancy breeches" worried about lying on baby's head?

Ok, this is going to sound silly, but does anyone else feel the same...?

My baby is (and has been for a long time) breech. Head just below my right ribs with back going round to under my left ribs, bottom on lower left, feet under bottom (handy for kicking my cervix and back passage ).

He is only little, but getting bigger and sometimes I can distinctly feel his head under my right ribs (little round thing)

The past week I have started to get paranoid about sleeping on his head (if I lie on my right side)

I have been very good about trying to sleep on my sides (rather than back - although I sometimes wake up on my back, I turn back to my side...). But now I feel trapped by my own paranoia... I only feel psychologically comfortable on my left side (can't sleep on my front, want to avoid sleeping on my back, now feel paranoid about sleeping on my right side (and baby's head)).

So sleeping is getting difficult because I feel trapped into lying in one position

Am I a lone nut... (baby is probably completely comfortable even if I lie on his head... ).

QT

You're not alone! I can feel her head poking out just below my left rib.

I'm pretty sure it's ok as she normally lets me know when I'm making her uncomfortable.

Hi There have been times when I have rolled onto my right hand side only to find his head poking out there!! Normally he moves again and I feel happy lying on my side. Very strange sensation though!

I worry the same
I poke and feel around every night trying to figure out
which side he is lying on and how far up, down
or if hes trans across lower bump, i try get a response out of him
so i know where abouts the feet and head are soo i dont lie on his little
head
am super paranoid... i know he'll make himself comfie and let me know
if he dont like how am lying but i dont think we can help but want to keep
them most comfie , even if it means that we dont get any sleep..
when this lil fella decides that night time is play time no matter what way
im lying i wont Budge a bit, i just let him push and shuffle away and even if
it most akward postion ever, i dont like to move.. and its worse when
he has a shuffle then seems to get comfie and i turn and he sets off again ..
BLESS feel like iv disturbed his comfie spot..

your deffo not alone
xx

It is so uncomfortable for me trying to sleep at night - although little one has been breech all along it has only got really uncomfortable in the last 2wks.

I have babys head right up at my left rib - digging into it constantly - even when I am just sitting up during the day.

At night, I am now trying to wait til I am really, really tired before going to bed so that I pass out quickly and hopefully not tossing and turning.

I try sleep on my left- and with babys head right up against my left rib it is so sore and baby starts wriggling around - cant be on my back as it feels like I have a tonne of bricks piled high up on me. And on my right is not really any better.

I am so glad I have less than a week to go!!
