When I had my 30 week check up with the midwife my fundal height only measured 28cm which was strange as all the way through my pregnancy so far I'd been measuring ahead.

Then I went back today (33 weeks) and saw the doctor who measured me at 29cm so I've grown 1cm in 3 weeks.

I have to go and have a scan to check the growth and I'm so nervous. I had to call myself and they said they'll get back to me as they have no free appointments at the moment.

The doctor said it's most likely to be reduced fluids but either way I'm really worried because that can be a sign of a problem too.

I really hate not knowing!!

that doesn't necessarily mean that the baby isn't properly growing!

Atleast you're 33 weeks! If there's a problem now they'll find it and fix it. If they have to deliver him (god forbid) then he'll be just fine! It may be nothing, maybe your uterus is just more wide than high. Hope it turns out alright! I'd definately keep pushing them for a scan quickly though. Just to put your mind at rest. It's normal to be 3CM out, so 4CM isn't that much different.

I posted with the same exact problem yesterday! I know how our feeling and it's quite scary. I hope your u/s shows that everything is ok! I think I'm going to go crazy until my u/s

I'm really glad I'm not the only one. I just ready your post. So is it really possible you'll have to have your LO early then?
