Spent sunday in hosp boohoo x

Hey ladies kust a lil rant about sunday, i woke up at 5.30 am with what seemed like mild uncomfortable contractions I decided to time them and keep a eye on them they went to painful and rather random so no worries, I phoned my MW at 10 just to let her know and the insisted i go in being only 35 wks.

I got to the hosp the hooked me up to machines etc and checked on baby all was well the contractions where showing on the monitor they checked my cervix still closed no probs xx

Then a senior midwife came in and said rite you can go home you just have a irratble uterus there is nothing we can do byeeeee !!!!!

I am still having uncomfortable contractions and they have just turned me away, I am not to sure what i thought they would do, but i thought they mite have at least suggested keeping a eye on them or telling me to rest but nope nothing they turned me on my heels !!

Feel a bit let down by them xx

Maybe ring your mw and see what she says if you're worried! Its a good sign that your cervix is still closed but if you're still worried i'm sure your mw can help

Have you managed to speak with your own midwife?

I agree that they should have kept you in but maybe as your cervix is closed they don't feel as worried? I would cretainly go back if things get no better.

aww hope ure ok

if u stil feel uncomfortable dont worry about going back to the hospital even if they were unhelpful yesterday xxx

must be frustratin, i get frustrated with the docs to! one min im getin induced next im not! they cant make up there minds but now im waitin it out naturally, also a mw at hosp felt my belly to see if lo was engaged and she put free in my book that it wasnt, and then went out for 2mins to get blood things, then my consultant walked in 2mins later just to check my bloods and i asked her can u check to see if shes engaged yet please it just feels like it.. so she did 2mins after the stupid mw checked and she was fully engeged!!! so now i just feel weird trusted bloody mws! so frustraten how u put ur trust in them!
