6 days left...

Hey ladies... Well I have 6 days left until my section. Everything for baby is ready to go, our hospital bags are packed... (except for DH's) We've got everything sorted for her when she comes home. We have a really big cabinet in the outside part of our bathroom (our sink is separate from our toilet and bath) And I want to organize that cabinet better before she gets here, just so it is done. But pretty much other than that, I've gotten what I wanted all done. Does anyone have any advice for things I should try and do with this last few days? Me and DH are going to have a date night. My mom is planning a nice girls weekend this weekend for us since DH is working all weekend. I know I dont have much time. Tomorrow I have a doc appt. And Monday, my family from out of town is coming to be here for when LO is born. But with the little bit of time I have left does anyone have any ideas of stuff to get done that I wont be able to after she's here?

Thanks ladies!

I would just relax and try and get some sleep. Also I would eat at my favorite restaurants one last time!

I would say sleeping (as much as possible), grocery shopping because you won't be able to get out, cooking and get some alone time with your OH. Oh yes, any cleaning that you may need to get done as well because you will be preoccupied with your new bundle of joy. Good luck.

I agree with the sleeping and perhaps preparation of some meals. With a C-section, trust me, you don't want to deal with cooking at all after.

Thanks girls. Last Friday I cooked a bunch of meals and froze them in small portions, but I might make a few more. That way we dont have to worry about it for a while. I think I will do one last cleaning of the house early Monday morning. I will def just get as much sleep as I can right now. Finish writing in my pregnancy book, and get her baby book started I guess. Me and DH are going to go see a movie and probably go to dinner Friday. We might go tonight tho, since we dont have much to do. Oh, and on Monday morning I'm going to do the little bit of laundry that accumulates over the next few days, so everything we have is clean.

Luckily for us, my mom, and DH's mom are going to spend lots of time helping us. We live close to both of them, so they are planning on taking shifts lol. And my mom can take as much time off as she wants, and she can also chose to work from home, or my house. So it will be nice having them to help with the little stuff that will be more difficult having a section.

Thanks for all of your nice thoughts ladies. Its great to have such a support system on here.
