35 week appointment

I had my GBS test done today, it wasn't bad at all. Hopefully it will come back negative! I had high BP at first but after laying on my side a few minutes it went back down to normal They gave me a million pamplets on giving birth, breastfeeding, pain relief options, and postpartum depression. They asked me my wishes for things I would like during the birth which was nice. They even gave me a changing pad and stuff interesting enough. My doctor was wonderful as normal but I'm measuring 4 weeks small so she said we needed to get an ultrasound done asap because I haven't grown in 4 weeks so she needs to see if we need to get the baby out because low amniotic fluid or IUGR. I went to make my appointment in radiology and they are booked out till the 7th which makes me really frustrated because I want to know everything is ok. My mom had the same problem with me and had to deliver a month early because I was not growing and there was little amniotic fluid. I can't believe I have to wait 12 days to find out whats going to happen, I'm going to go crazy. I really hope everything is ok it's so hard not knowing why I'm not growing

Fingers crossed that all is well. Hopefully it is just the way you are carrying. I would give Doc a call and let her know the back up on the songoram, maybe she can do something to speed it along.

Aw hun, I'm sure that things will be ok. Even if they have to deliver early, it will be ok. If it were an emergency, they would get you in asap. Try not to worry. Glad your doc was nice!

I hope that everything is okay! I would definitely call your doctor and tell her how long of a wait that is. I would think that's something you should be seen for right away!

There is two others but they are booked out passed April 14th. I was upset because it said on the paper HIGH RISK in caps and to be done ASAP. I see the doctor in a few days so I will see what she says. They have u/s machines in the office but it's because it's a special kind of ultrasound so they only have it at specialty places.

I would make a huge fuss about it.
I mean, you should get a priority treatment over someone who is just getting an anatomy/dating scan early on.
I hope you can work something out and everything ends up OK.
