Hello Ladies... a bit of a problem..

Hiya,

I'm a long time lurker and I've finally gotten it together to log in and post. I must say I've found all the posts on this forum really helpfull and many have put my mind at ease.

My problem is I'm 32 weeks and was at my docs yesterday.
He was measuring me and said that the baby was measuring smaller than he would have liked, which has set alarms bells off in my head.
He also found traces of protein in my urine but on the second sample I gave the urine was clear.

My next opointment is not for two more weeks so he's obviously not too worried, and baby looked good on the scan and his( it's a boy) movements are strong and frequent.

Has anyone else been told they are measuring small ?
Could it just be the way the baby is lying ?

Firstly, congratulations on your boy!

Clear urine is good, it means you're hydrated. My babies been measuring small the whole time but my uterus is measuring too big. I think it's just a case of everyone's different, along with their babies. Good luck, and try not to worry unless they tell you to.

Doctors have a tendency to say things that make us worry all day long. I dont think some of them realise how sensitive we are and how we over analyze everything they say. As long as your baby is healthy that is all that matters. So what if your baby is a little smaller. Not everyone is the same. Dont worry. Just remember to hydrate yourself and to keep those proteins in your urine away.

He still has a few weeks to go, so he might just put it all on later, you never know. All babies are different
