Swelling Noooooooo!!!!

Rant;

So, I thought I was doing ever so well with regards to not having any swelling etc as I had cankles from 6mths with my son & had to take my rings off real early too, but nooooooo - over the last few days it has started . My rings are tight & I rekon I'm going to have to take them off soon & I took my socks of earlier & had massive dints in my legs where they had been sat!

Oh the joys of being pregnant, roll on the next 7 wks (preferably sooner Flump if you are listening!!) Hmpf!

same here. Nasty rings around my ankles when I take my socks off, and now my feet and my toes are swollen. Ick. Not sure what shoes I'm going to wear to work on Monday! Also fingers are swollen and really really stiff. Anone else have this? I feel like a right weakling when I attempt to open a bottle or a jar!

It is never too late...

Do you drink lots of fluids? Keep your water intake up - believe it of not, the more you drink the less fluid you tend to retain (bizarre but true - must flush toxins out of the system...).

Whenever you get the opportunity, elevate your feet.

Take care.

Yeah - I read about elevating feet... but have also been told I need to keep my knees lower than my hips to help baby engage.

I try & drink as much as I can & rest loads but I am at physio for back ache so need to sit on my swiss ball loads & bubs is back to back so am not allowed to have my feet above my hips to help it turn round (I have to be on all fours for as long as I can stand each to each day so that gravity swings it round. DH keeps telling me to lie on the sofa & relax bless him & I would love to, but need to get this baby turned. Thanks for the advice, and you take care too

I had no swelling first time round but i definately do now! My rings came off weeks ago and the other day i wanted a pair of shoes from next, they had a zip at the back but all i could see when i looked down was puffy feet escaping over the top! Can't wait for them to go back to normal x
