Slowly giving up..

..the will to live!!!!

Don't get me wrong, I adore being pregnant and i even love my big bump but since last week, my lifes just got so sh*t its unbelievable, I know you's are all in exactly the same boat as me, so im hoping use may make me realise im being silly but, what the hell I need to rant!!

I have onli gained 12lb which, by reading other peoples posts I am fairly proud of, however people think as i am pregnant it gives them right to comment on my puffy wrists and double chin im getting, after seeing my face change, backing there comments up with, 'but that will all change soon as babies here' does not make me feel any better.what if i find it hard to loose the weight?!

I cannot enjoy anything, not even resting watching tele, i have a twist in my spine so the extra weight is nto helping me at all, I can bearly finish a drink without needing to pee, i must have about 5 good lengthy pee's an hour, even when i havn't drunk, wer is this coming from???

I am badly paranoid, coz i seem constantly damp and think my waters have broken every night! I wish there were no braxton hicks or anything to closely resemble labour, it would be so much better if we actually knew for definate when labour had arrived!

Also ive uffered from insomnia for 10 years however earlier last year i got hypnotised and it cured me until la few weeks ago. Ive litrally had about 15 hours sleep in the last 5 days and just keep worrying that i will have zero energy once labour begins!

Any advice, stories, a slap in the face for me?

Amy-lea, I'm TOTALLY with you on that. At this point, I'm so sick of being pregnant. I feel selfish but I want my body back, I want my normal self back again.

I don't think we should feel bad about being sick of pregnancy, it's a hard thing to go through!!Lots of sudden changes in our bodies, and it is very hard to get use to them. Also there is those darn hormones that messes with our emotions, feelings and temper...

It is almost over, just hang in there. I found this forum so helpful, I'm so glad we can share with other girls in the same situation.

Hope that rant made you feel better ! It's good to let it all out sometimes.

I totally hear you! I'm not to the point where you are yet, but I'm getting there! Don't worry about losing the weight, 12 lbs, is probably nothing, it's probably all baby. I've started swelling and someone today actually told me the truth and said I look swollen. I was actually glad someone told me the truth instead of passifying me! It's not like I can't see it for myself!!

Like its 5am now, Ive had no sleep for a good few days, tomorrow will be messed up as I will be exausted, and what if she decides to come tongiht or tomorrow, I wont have the energy to walk to a hospital ward never mind go thru 12 hours of labour, im really adjitated (sp?) with mysekf for not being able to sleep, i feel like im letting my baby down as iwont be ready when she comes!

I wouldn't worry too much about that, I'm sure that when the time comes, you will be so excited and anxious to meet her and you won't even feel tired!

Im with you on this too.

I'm not really close to having my baby like you are so I can't begin to imagine how uncomfortable you are, but the past few days have been so painful and uncomfortable that I just cannot wait for this to be over. I could never see myself feeling like this, I just want to go to sleep for the next 9 weeks and wake up when he's here. I'm exhausted, and I feel awful for saying it too.

At the end of the day, we are putting our bodies through a LOT more than they usually would be going through, especially at this stage, and I think you've got every right to moan and complain. Like you say, every pregnancy is different so no one knows exactly how you're feeling right now.

I just hope you feel better soon love, you don't have long left now, just hang in there

xxx

I moan alot but I'm not actually in pain that often. Just when I am it's SO bad! I'm dreading getting further. My poor pelvis is so small it's going to snap in half I'm sure. Not long now Amy. Are you hoping she'll be early then?!

The last month or so of pregnancy is the worst and I don't think you are all alone in thinking this way at all. You feel achy, lack of sleep often sets in, and the boredom of pregnancy and wanting your body back. I do understand where you are coming from as I was the same way in my prior pregnancies.

You've only gained 12 pounds and I am pretty sure that this is mostly baby! I've a feeling you'll be back to normal before you know it.
