I'm sure I remember someone saying to me to work on roughly 7/8 nappy changes a (24 hours) day.

I suppose if you imagine that you'll change as you feed and you feed every 3 hours (this is assuming a perfect world which with babies doesn't actually exist ) then that's about right.

Wow I think I need to buy some more.. I have about 75 in newborn.. I didn't want to buy to many in newborn just encase the baby grows out of them early.. However!! Im thinking I might need some more after reading this post!!

I agree, we've always changed Bethanie's nappy before a feed. So say 6 bottles in 24 hours, thats 6 nappies + a few more for luck. I think a good amount is between 6-8, you never know and it depends on the day. We didn't stock up too much until we knew what weight she was.

I think I may have to buy some more too.... I thought I was safe with 4 packs of 40 but I won't want to be rushing to the store anytime after she arrives. I best pick up some more if she'll be going through so many a day.

We have a closet full of diapers. At this point we have about 900 diapers ranging in size from newborn to size two. Also 2 packs of night time diapers my mom went crazy stocking up on diapers. One day my mom came over to our place with hundreds of diapers. I must say I won't have to worry about buying diapers for many MANY months!!
