I'm not having contractions. Just, my cervix feels like it has just been ripped open with a knife. The pains are getting stronger but it's probably nothing. I really DO NOT want to go to the hospital again for no reason. I don't like being there. I refuse to go back unless she's falling out. Anyone else had realllllllly sharp cervix pain though?! And I don't mean stretching pain sharp I mean stabbing me with a knife sharp..

Can't help you with that sorry ! But I've had some kinda like pinching feeling, nothing that was painful or felt like stabbing.

Thats from the baby's head pushing on the cervix..I get that quite a bit..

Last week, I had the same pain (not as painful as you describe it, but still annoying) and I ended up going to the hospital to find out that I was having contractions. I don't want to scare you at all or make you go into the hospital, but I wanted to tell you I was in somewhat of the same situation. They pumped me full of fluids and gave me two shots of Brethine to stop the contractions, which worked. Just pay attention to the pain and if it gets stronger, I would recommend going in to the hospital. Hope things turn out to be simple and you don't have to go in!

I've had horrible stabbing pains today on my cervix. I get them quite often... my doctor says it's baby lying on a nerve.

I get them when I am walking, and the baby is low. i just figured is was bumping my cervix or a nerve.
