I'm Currently Feeling: | 30 week check up Everything went great! BP fine, no GD, baby's heart rate was great. She said it sounds like a girl based on the heart beat! We'll see!
I gained 8 lbs. between my last visit 4 weeks ago and today. Both the nurse and the MW asked, "what happened?" "WHAT HAPPENED?!?!? I'm making a baby!!!" I was so irritated. I've only gained 28 lbs. total and before I got pregnant I was the skinniest I've been since high school. I had lost 24 lbs, so if we go off that I've only gained 4 lbs. I'm still in my size 6 jeans so they can all kiss my ass!
She said she's not concerned that the baby is laying on it's side and it's probably contributing to the fact that my right hip is hurting me so much worse than my left. She also said that my pelvic pain isn't normal, but it's not uncommon. She suggested a maternity belt that looks like a jock strap. Anyone use one of these? Were they worth it? They are kinda expensive so before I buy one, I'm interested if they work. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Glad everything went well. Sorry they were so rude about your weight. Sounds like you are doing great. I used the supportive full belly panties with my 1st pregnancy and it helped. Not sure about the belt though, sorry. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I use a maternity belt and it really helps. I only wear it when I'm at work to help with the pressure of baby on my pelvis. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Glad to hear your appointment went well. My LO is hanging out on the right as well. Silly babies! The belt I have is not like a jock strap, and I am not sure I like it yet. | | | | Status: Online
